Advocacy Information: If you have a disagreement or dispute with the school, tactics and strategy will help you control the outcome. This page has links to dozens of articles, free books, newsletters and other resources.

The Parent Educational Advocacy Training Center (PEATC) is the parent information and training center serving families and professionals of children with disabilities in the Commonwealth of Virginia. 

They have provided a list of free templates to use when communicating with your school. The templates include the basic information that may be important to communicate and point out where you should put in personal details about your child or the particular situation or request.
